Our team
Our SENJORO team is made up of qualified, professional, empathetic and, above all, loving professionals. While the administration and the coordinators of the city offices keep the programme running smoothly, our social worker assistants spend their days with seniors. This allows us to focus not only on the care of the seniors, but also on their socialisation, bringing more good emotions, warm communication over a cup of coffee, and interesting events and outings organised by SENJORO into their lives.
SENJORO is much more than the job I go to every day. It is a group of sincere people working for a common goal - a positive old age in Lithuania.
SENJORO's work is a huge change in our country. We are creating a positive old age by introducing innovations in the sector that have never been seen before.
I am happy to be part of the SENJORO team because every day I see how we make a difference in the lives of seniors. That is the greatest happiness - to help someone who needs it the most.
There are no big or small jobs, as long as you strive with all your heart for a beautiful goal. My goal today is to help people to live better than they did yesterday.
Working with seniors is a way to learn unique life stories and gain wisdom. It is an activity that inspires me every day and makes my life meaningful.

I like working here because I have met so many warm people. The bond you form with each senior is very important and special. Every time I come to a senior citizen and see their eyes shining with happiness, I realize that I made the right choice.
I am happy to be part of SENJORO. I like working with elderly people. As I have a disabled son myself, I try to listen and understand the seniors as well as I can and that is what they miss the most.
People think that happiness is to have and to receive and to be served by others. In reality, happiness is found in giving and serving others.
I'll be honest - I really love my job. And the reason for that is that every senior I visit is as important and loved by me as my own children.
It is a great privilege for me to be able to be the "hands and feet" of seniors when they are no longer in control of their own.
It is important to be needed...by someone. One is alone in one's pain and troubles. Others can help, sympathize, comfort, say a kind word. This is the best medicine for a lonely senior person.
