Am I eligible to these services?
Home help services are available to all elderly persons; there are no restrictions regarding health. Services shall not be not provided to persons who are completely independent and only need help with housekeeping. Day social care services shall be available to the persons with special needs.
How to order the service?
The application for services should be filed with the eldership of your place of residence; alternatively, you may fill in the application form on our website in "SERVICES" section.
What services can I access?
A description of the services provided by "Senjoro" can be found here. Specific services shall be assigned by a social worker based on the person's needs, after assessing his / her independence and the adaptation of the living environment.
At what time will the services be provided?
The service provision schedule shall be determined by the coordinator taking into account the person's needs and shall be communicated to the beneficiary of services.
Can I choose a personal care worker myself?
The personal care worker who will provide services shall be appointed by the coordinator taking into account the elderly person's character, hobbies and place of residence. However, if it is noticed that the elderly person and the personal care worker are not getting along, we will appoint another worker.
If I go to a sanatorium, won't I lose my services?
If you go to a sanatorium or rehabilitation center, are hospitalized for a longer period of time, go on vacation, etc., you can suspend the provision of services for a period not exceeding 120 days per year. To suspend services, you must submit a request specifying the suspension period and reason.
How much do the services of "Senjoro" cost?
"Senjoro" is a social partner of municipalities; therefore, part of the service price for customers shall be compensated from the municipal budget. The final price shall be determined on a case-by-case basis taking into account the rates set by the municipality of the place of residence and the person's income – the lower the income, the lower the additional payment.
