Social services offered by "SENJORO"

"SENJORO" offers social services at home – day care and in-home help. These services help elderly people and people with disabilities to maintain a full and comfortable life in their home environment for as long as possible. We are there every day – helping, encouraging, and supporting. We are committed to ensuring that every elderly person receives comprehensive assistance according to their needs. Social services provided by us are compensated by municipalities.



Home help

The services provided at home to help the person (family) stay independent, manage the household and engage in community life.

Home help is available to older people and their families, as well as adults or working-age people with disabilities and their relatives. Home help services are provided as needed, nuo from 1 to 10 hours per week.

Day social care

The comprehensive assistance provided to a person at home during the day when continuous supervision by professionals is required.

Day social care services include privision of information, counseling, mediation and representation, helping around the house, organising personal hygiene services, organising health care services, housekeeping tasks, developing and maintaining of daily living skills and other services adapted to the person's level of independence.

The service is designed for adults and elderly people with disabilities.

Day social care services are provided according to the person's needs from 11 to 40 hours per week.

How to access the services?

Filing an application

  • Contact the nearest "SENJORO" division in your city – MAP
  • Our team will advise you on how to submit an application to your local municipality (applications for social services may be submitted by the person himself, his relatives or other persons concerned).
  • "SENJORO" team will help to submit the necessary documents for getting the service.

Assessing the need

  • Upon submission of the application, a social worker shall assess the person's (family's) need for social services.
  • During the assessment of the need for social services, the type and duration of services shall be determined according to the health and independence level of the person (family).

Provision of services

  • The municipal administration shall make a decision on the allocation of services.
  • The person who filed the application and the service provider selected by the person shall be informed of the decision.
  • "SENJORO" coordinator shall contact the beneficiary of services in order to agree on the beginning of the provision of services and the first meeting.

How much does it cost?

The services are available to everyone. They are fully or partially funded by the municipality where the elderly person lives. The final price shall be determined on a case-by-case basis taking into account the rates set by the municipality of the place of residence and the person's income – the lower the income, the lower the additional payment. The average price paid by a person for "SENJORO" services is only EUR 0.94 per hour.
